Account details you give us (email, password hash, date of birth, post code, gender). Profile content (name, bio, photo, gym, workout types, schedule, fitness goal, training style, experience level). Activity (workout posts, requests, swipes, matches, messages, session ratings). Device data needed to deliver the app (IP, app version, basic crash diagnostics).
We use this data to power matching, show you compatible lifters near your gym, deliver chat, prevent abuse, and keep the service running. We do not sell your personal data.
Other LIFT LNK members can see your profile, today’s workout, online status, average rating, and any messages you send to them. Reports and blocks are private.
Camera & photo library — only when you choose to add or update a profile picture. Notifications — only if you opt in (used for new requests/messages). We never access these in the background.
Your data is retained while your account is active. Deleting your account from Settings removes your profile, posts, requests, swipes and messages within 30 days.
Edit or remove information any time in Edit Profile. Block or report a user from their profile. Delete your account in Settings.
Passwords are hashed with Argon2id, transport is HTTPS only, and JWT tokens authorise every request. We use rate limits to deter abuse.
LIFT LNK is for adults. If you believe a minor is using the service please contact us so we can investigate.
